All courses offered by ÁñÁ«ÊÓÆµ require the ongoing use of computer technology. To engage fully with the learning experience for the duration of theirÂ studies, students will need to have access to and be able to use internet-connected devices and have reliable connection to the internet. Students are expected to find, use and disseminate information, upload and download documents and video and audio files, prepare assessments and presentations, communicate with faculty using ÁñÁ«ÊÓÆµ student emailÂ and audio-visual communication tools, and manage and back up files. A limited number of computers are available for student use in the Learning Hub.
Students are required to have access to portable computing devices, such as laptops or tabletsÂ that can utilize the Microsoft Office suite, in order to undertake learning activities inÂ various units in their courses. On occasion, students will be required to bring these devices to classes.
Students in the undergraduate Business courses are required to bring their portable devices to class in units such asÂ BZ102,Â BZ106Â andÂ BZ201 and be able to use Microsoft Excel and Access applications.
Students at ÁñÁ«ÊÓÆµ are assigned a dedicated email address and this will be used to deliver important information and documentation. Students are assigned individualised login details for using Library services and the Moodle learning platform as well as individual space on the student server for the purpose of data storage. Students are expected to check their ÁñÁ«ÊÓÆµ email and access the Moodle site for relevant class materials and onlineÂ activities on a regular basis.
